U.S. Dollar Rallies After November Unemployment Rate Falls to 8.6 Percent

The United States’ labor market reading did not disappoint expectations – in fact it exceeded them – but the reaction by markets was not bullish. Instead, the U.S. Dollar was trading higher as a lower unemployment rate lessens the need for more quantitative easing by the Federal Reserve.
